You may call Rochelle Braunstein of Strategies for Wealth Creation and Protection at 1 (212)701-7946, for information on a range of long-term care insurance policies, including those that are part of the New York State Partnership for Long Term Care (which helps individuals preserve their assets), as well as non-Partnership plans and the differences between those plans.
With the city's withdrawal of the MetLife plan, those interested in Long Term Care Insurance might find it especially worthwhile to attend an informational seminar presented by Ms. Braunstein on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 6-9pm at the OSA office: 220 East 23rd Street, Suite 709, Manhattan (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues).
Braunstein holds an MA from Columbia University and is a Certified Senior Advisor, a member of the New York Association of Insurance and Financial Professionals and a financial representative of the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. She specializes in financial issues confronting those in the "second stage" of their financial lives -- "protecting, conserving and enjoying assets in preparation for and during retirement."
While this seminar is especially important to retirees or those considering retirement, younger members may also be interested since long term care insurance premiums are significantly lower if you start at a younger age.
Refreshments and registration will start at 5:30pm. To reserve your seat, please click here to download a coupon, which you should print, complete and return to the OSA office by September 27, 2011.
