The union held its January general membership meeting, a month late, on February 29, 2024, virtually on Zoom. The postponement was to give time to obtain information about the implementation of the new Main Unit contract which had been ratified on January 22nd. The main topics of discussion on the agenda were information on payment of the raises, retroactive monies and signing bonus due to the vast majority of OSA members who are covered by that agreement.

OSA Vice Chair Adam Orgel's presentation also included information on the status of negotiations in our other bargaining units outside the main unit: the NYC Transit Authority, the Department of Education, our Uniformed Services unit in the Police Department and the office of the Public Advocate. Adam also provided an update on the various chapter meetings that he and other members of OSA leadership and staff have been holding, in cooperation with the union's delegates at the various agencies.
